K-Duo Review 2020
In 2015, a friend bought me a Koenig single serve coffee maker as a thank you gift for lending her my car for her house moving. Since then, i always have my early morning coffee before starting my daily work. It was a tiny machine and yet it brews a nicely aromatic coffee for me. But, one main pain point in using the tiny coffee maker is that I cannot serve my visitors fast enough. That is why, I am researching for a large capacity coffee maker, something that can have at least 10 cup. Let me present you the Keurig K-Duo Coffee Maker through this review.
Why K-Duo, you ask?
As mentioned earlier, I need a larger coffee maker as my family usually have visitors coming almost every weekend. My tiny coffee machine is not efficient and i found my self spending at least 10 minutes to go and back to the kitchen to make my guests’ coffee. Instead, with the K-duo slow drip coffee maker, i benefit from brewing a large 12-cup carafe at one go. Oh did i mention that you can in fact pause mid-brew for 20 seconds so that you can pour some of the coffee for your thirsty guests? This is yet another reason i am in love with this K-Duo machine.
The downside as claimed by some customers is linked to dripping of the coffee on the counter when using the carafe mode. For me, it is not too bad as I normally have towel ready nearby to wipe this dripping coffee. It is not a big deal to me. I am just happy that I can keep my guests happy.
